This is the time when the dance tights you or your child have been wearing to class start looking faded and worn. They may even have a few ‘cool looking’ rips or tears in them. Great for class … not so great for recital.
My children’s dance studio is recommending one particular brand of dance tight for recital. They’ve found over the years that some brands of tights, depending on the production lot, can appear in different colorations, even when the actual color name on the package is the same.
So, to be sure that all the children look as uniform as possible on stage, it’s smart to purchase the brand and color of tight that the studio recommends
Since it’s the end of the year, we’ll be wearing ours all of next year during class.
